NDC Gov’t to Pilot 24-Hour Economy Soon in Mampong – Hon. Yakubu
The National Democratic Congress is set to roll out a pilot of its much-talked-about 24-hour economy initiative in Mampong.
The initiative aims to create jobs, boost productivity, and ensure round-the-clock access to essential services.

Local residents and business owners have expressed optimism about the plan, saying it could revitalize the town’s economy and reduce unemployment, especially among the youth.
The NDC says the pilot will include extended business hours, improved security, and infrastructure upgrades to support night-time commerce.
If successful, the model could be replicated in other towns across the country.
