Kwaku Ampratwum-Sarpong the Member of Parliament for Asante Mampong who doubles as the Former Deputy Minister for Foreigns Affairs has declared that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is the only befitting candidate capable of leading the party to victory in the 2028 general elections.

Speaking at a constituency gathering in the Asante Mampong during the visit of former Veep Hon. Ampratwum emphasized Dr. Bawumia’s unmatched experience, grassroots appeal, and visionary leadership. “No other candidate embodies the spirit, resilience, and forward-thinking agenda of the NPP like Dr. Bawumia,” he stated, adding that the former Vice President’s track record in digital transformation and economic policy makes him the most formidable contender.

This endorsement aligns with growing momentum behind Dr. Bawumia’s candidacy. He has already launched a nationwide campaign, engaging party executives and delegates across key regions, including the Ashanti bloc—widely considered the heartbeat of the NPP.
