Shops, Five Containers and Two-Bedroom Apartment Reduced to Ashes at Suame Magazine zone 4

A devastating fire which out broke at Suame Magazine zone 4 in the Ashanti Region has left a trail of destruction, destroying shops, five containers, and a two-bedroom apartment, and leaving residents in dire need of assistance.

According to one of the victims, Mr. Emmanuel Otoo, the fire started at about 10:30pm yesterday which those who were at the scene at that time tried all that they could to quench it but it got out of their control.

“We tried to quench the fire with normal water but it got out of our control and we then called for help from the fire fighters.

“The fire is not Electric light, but I think someone caused this devastation. “I have lost all my properties and the fire has really hurt us,” he said.

The community is in shock, and the cry for help is loud and clear.

The people of Suame Magazine zone 4 are calling on government authorities to come to their aid, provide support, and help them recover from this devastating loss.
